The Northern Football League is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Devine as the league’s new Football Operations Manager.
Devine is currently the AFL Goulburn Murray League Operations Manager.
In this role he manages the operations of the Goulburn Valley Football League, Kyabram District Football Netball League, Shepparton District Junior Football League, Seymour District Junior Football Netball League and the Goulburn Campaspe Junior Football League.
Devine has previously served as AFL Queensland Competition Manager and also as AFL Queensland State Umpire Development Officer.
He holds a degree in Business/Sports Management from Griffith University.
NFL CEO Peter McDougall said Devine was the outstanding applicant in a quality field.
“We are thrilled to have Simon join us at the NFL,” McDougall said.
“He brings a wealth of football operations and administration experience and will be a fantastic addition to our league.”
Devine will commence his new role with the NFL in late July.
