Sports Trainers Wanted: Diamond Creek Women’s Football Club

Diamond Creek Women’s Football Club is seeking Sports Trainers for the upcoming 2023 season.

Established in 2002, the Creekers have grown over the years and Diamond Creek Women’s is now ‘the place to be’ for northern Melbourne female footballers.

Being a female only club, we passionately believe in female participation in team sports and provide an environment where players of all ages and abilities can enjoy playing football and creating new friendships.

Our senior women play in the Northern Football Netball League (NFNL) in Division 1 and 2 of the competition. In 2022, our Division 1 team won the premiership.

Diamond Creek Women’s offers the opportunity to play junior football from under-10s to under-18’s and as well as seniors.

We are looking for two trainers who are passionate about women’s football and want to get involved with a great club. If you have the skills, knowledge and passion get in touch.

Responsibilities include:
– Pre-match preparation
– Taping, massage
– Injury management & First Aid

Requirements:
– First Aid & CPR Certification
– Level 1 Sports Trainer (or willing to obtain)
– Working with Children Check
– Ongoing PD

Availability:
– MUST be available Tuesday Thursday and Sundays
– 1 x Trainer for each training night (Tuesday and Thursday)
– 2 x Trainers for Sundays – game day (may play the occasional Saturday)

– Based on experience
