Stars, Bears promote Report Racism

THIS Saturday, the Fitzroy Stars will promote the Report Racism initiative during its game against Thomastown.

Report Racism is a third party reporting initiative being trialled by the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission, the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service and Victoria Police.

Report Racism means that people can report racism online at www.reportracism.com.au or at a local community organisation as well as directly to Victoria Police or the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission.

The day includes free entry, free barbecue lunch, information stalls and children’s activities.

To join the fun, head to Sir Douglas Nicholls Oval, Cnr St Georges Rd & Watt St, Thornbury from 11.30 on Saturday, August 15.
