The 2017 Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 Team of the Year has been announced.
The league congratulates all players selected in the team.
The Team of the Year is selected by collating nominations submitted from each of the division’s senior coaches. Coaches Player of the Year votes and umpire votes are also taken into consideration.
A squad of 40 players was announced on Tuesday, of which the Team of the Year has been selected from.
Grand finalists Banyule and South Morang have 11 players selected in the team, while 17 players come from sides who competed in the finals.
Only five players selected in the 2016 Division 3 Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 Team of the Year feature again in 2017. They are Leigh Judd, Jake Potter, Dillan Ronalds, Luke Shelton and Aaron Willitts.
All players selected in the teams will receive a framed poster of the squad, which will be presented to their club later this month.
