2017 Northpark NFLW fixtures released

The fixtures for the inaugural season of the Northpark NFLW competitions have been released.

The senior women’s competition will be made up of two 10-team divisions.

The first ball will be bounced on Saturday April 1 with a standalone Division 2 clash between West Preston-Lakeside and Whitehorse 2 at J.E Moore Park from 4:15pm.

All remaining Round 1 fixtures will be played on Saturday April 22 and Sunday April 23.

The Round 1 fixtures are:

Northpark NFLW Division 1

Saturday April 22
Kew vs Whitehorse at Victoria Park, Kew

Sunday April 23
Bendigo vs Darebin at Weeroona Oval, Bendigo
Deer Park vs VU Western Spurs at Deer Park Sports Oval
La Trobe Uni vs Diamond Creek Women’s at La Trobe University Oval
Pascoe Vale vs Melbourne Uni at Raeburn Reserve

Northpark NFLW Division 2

Saturday April 1
West Preston-Lakeside vs Whitehorse 2 at J.E. Moore Park

Saturday April 22
Kew 2 vs Whitehorse 2 at Victoria Park, Kew

Sunday April 23
La Trobe Uni 2 vs Diamond Creek Women’s 2 at La Trobe University Oval
South Morang vs Darebin 2 at The Lakes Reserves
West Preston-Lakeside vs VU Western Spurs 2 at J.E. Moore Park
Laurimar vs Montmorency at Laurimar Reserve

To celebrate the senior women’s opening round, the NFL will hold a luncheon featuring a host of AFL and AFLW identities.

Special guests at the luncheon include Simon Black, Deanna Berry, Bailey Hunt, Alicia Eva, Damien Keeping and Chyloe Kurdas.

Tickets are $35 per head with included lunch. Drinks are available at bar prices.
