2019 AFL Victoria Metro Junior Development Series set to launch

Published on Wednesday, May 29, 2019

The 2019 AFL Victoria Metro Junior Development Series begins tonight, with six NFNL sides in action.

The AFL Victoria Metro Junior Development Series is an interleague representative competition which gives Under-14 and Under-15) players the opportunity to represent their League and take on the best players from opposing Metro competitions.

The NFNL will again have six junior representative sides competing at the tournament this year, comprising two Under-15 Boys teams, two Under-15 Girls teams and two Under-14 Boys teams.

Tonight’s matches are the first in the three-game round-robin tournament, with matches to also be played on Saturday June 8 and Monday June 10 during the Queen’s Birthday weekend.

The NFNL wishes all players and coaches the best of luck throughout the tournament and hopes to see plenty of support for our junior stars as they take on the best from other local leagues.
