The Northern Football Netball League wishes to announce the award winners for the 2020-21 NFNL Summer Netball season.

The 2020-21 NFNL Summer Netball grand finals will be played at La Trobe Sports Stadium this Friday March 26 and we are pleased to announce the Best and Fairest and Star Shooter for all seven sections.

The Best and Fairest award is decided upon by the umpires. At the conclusion of each regular season match the field umpires award 3, 2 and 1 votes to the three players they adjudged best on court. Votes awarded during grading rounds are included in a player’s final tally.

The Star Shooter award is presented to the player who shoots the most goals in their competition during the regular season. Goals scored during grading rounds are included in a player’s final tally.

The NFNL wishes to congratulate all award recipients on their outstanding performance this season.

Best and Fairest and Star Shooter awards will be presented during the medal ceremony following each of their respective section’s grand finals on Friday night. Best and Fairest and Star Shooters from the 2019-20 Summer season will also be presented with their awards.

Please note: Only those who finish in first place in each of the Best and Fairest and Star Shooter awards will be presented with an award.
