All NFNL matches scheduled for the weekend of August 13-15 will not proceed following today’s announcement that Melbourne’s lockdown will extend for a further seven days.
Please continue below for an updated roadmap for each of the NFNL’s football and netball competitions should matches recommence on the weekend of August 20-22.
As outlined in the roadmaps below, the home and away season has now concluded for the Division 3 men’s (seniors, reserves and under-19s) and all senior women’s football competitions due to no matches being played last weekend and this upcoming weekend.
These competitions will all progress to their finals series when play resumes. Times and venues for these finals will be announced in due course.
Due to the evolving nature of COVID, the NFNL will continue to closely monitor the advice from the Victorian Government and relevant authorities.
Changes may occur to ensure we complete the season, and we ask for everyone to be patient and flexible.
The NFNL thanks all clubs, players, parents and officials for your co-operation and understanding throughout the 2021 season.
We hope to return to play as soon as possible.
