The Northern Football Netball League is pleased to announce the Best and Fairest and Leading Goal Shooter award winners for the 2023-24 summer netball season.
The Best and Fairest award is determined by the umpires. At the conclusion of each home and away match the umpires award 3, 2 and 1 votes to the three players they have adjudged best on court. Votes awarded during grading rounds are included in a player’s final tally.
The Leading Goal Shooter award (senior’s only) is presented to the player who shoots the most goals in their competition during the regular season. Goals scored during grading rounds are included in a player’s final tally.
The NFNL wishes to congratulate all award recipients on their outstanding performance this season.
Junior Best and Fairest winners were presented their awards during last night’s grand finals, while senior Best and Fairest and Leading Goal Shooter awards will be presented on grand final night. The award presentation will be held during the medal ceremony conducted following each division’s grand final. The 2023-24 summer netball grand finals will be played at La Trobe Sports Stadium on Friday March 22.
Please note: Only players who finish in first place in the Best and Fairest and Leading Goal Shooter awards will be presented with an award.
