The 2023 Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 Team of the Year has been selected.

The Team of the Year is selected based on the following criteria:

• Nominations submitted by each senior coach within each division at the conclusion of the home and away season. Coaches must select a player for each position on the field.

• Coaches MVP votes

• Best and Fairest votes

Grand finalists Laurimar have the most representatives in the side with six players selected. Nathan Andrews, Kaiden Arthur and Luke Wilson make it back-to-back appearances while this is Mitchell Thompson’s third selection and first since 2019.

Both Heidelberg West and Old Eltham Collegians have four players named in the team. This is two straight selections for Alex Hywood and Bradley Moore while Timothy Ellis and Nicholas Milne are the first two-time representatives from the Turtles.

Kinglake and Mernda each have three players represented in the Team of the Year. After three Division 2 selections with North Heidelberg, Leigh Gilbert makes the final side, while the Demons have more than two players selected in a Division 3 Team of the Year for the first time since 2016.

Represented by one player each in the final side are the Fitzroy Stars and Kilmore.

The NFNL congratulates everyone selected in the team.
