2024 NFNL Netball Season Dates

The NFNL has confirmed the 2024 season dates for the senior and junior winter netball competitions.

For the first time, the senior winter netball competition will consist of 16 regular season matches, the most games an NFNL netball season has produced.

The 2024 campaign will commence on Friday, April 12.

Teams in sections 1-5 will play a split round in Round 14, between the 26th of July and the 2nd of August.

All sections will again have a three-week finals series featuring the top four teams, with the grand finals in sections 6-14 to be played on Friday, August 30 and the grand finals in sections 1-5 to take place on Friday, September 6.

The 2024 junior winter netball competition will begin on Wednesday, April 24 and will feature 9&U, 11&U, 13&U and 15&U competitions.

There will be no matches played in the July school holidays, with 14 matches to be conducted in the regular campaign of all competitions.

Both the 9&U and 11&U competitions will again play a round-robin tournament to conclude the season, while a three-week finals series will be played in the 13&U and 15&U competitions, with grand finals to take place on Wednesday, August 28.
