The senior teams for this weekend’s matches have been selected.
Josh Henkel will play his first game since last year’s grand final when Macleod hosts Heidelberg at De Winton Park. Lucas Hobbs and Matthew Yarwood also return for the reigning premier, who loses Jack Langford to Essendon’s VFL team.
Ben Cosgriff comes back into Heidelberg’s defence as the ladder-leader searches for its ninth-consecutive win.
David Ellard, Matt Fowler and Matt Haynes have all been included for Greensborough’s home clash with Eltham, although co-captain Tristan Stead and Josh Callaway come out of the Boro’s line-up. Eltham regains VFL defender Daniel Coffield.
Sam Peet has been named for his first game for Whittlesea when the Eagles host Northcote Park. Peet has spent the first half of this season with the Northern Blues.
North Heidelberg will be without Luke Edmondson as it searches for its fifth-straight win in Division 2 when it takes on Thomastown.
The Bears regain captain Anthony Fazzari, along with Jacob Osei-Duro and Stefan Berak.
In Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3, Mitch Hicks returns for South Morang’s crunch game against St Mary’s. The Burra go in unchanged.
Meanwhile, Mernda skipper Les Adams will miss his side’s trip to Heidelberg West and Chris Varsamakis is out of Banyule’s match against Kilmore.
