Roosters land Raso

Published on Monday, October 22, 2012

Raso was selected from a high class field and will replace Vin Dattoli in charge of the Roosters.

He played 19 games for Collingwood in the late 90s before captaining the Northern Bullants in the VFL.

Raso has had assistant coach roles in the Essendon District Football League as well as the Northern Knights in the TAC Cup this year.

A statement released by West Preston-Lakeside said the club is very excited about attracting a quality person to lead the club into the future.

A players and members meeting will be held this Wednesday, October 24 at the J.E. Moore Park clubrooms at 7pm to outline season 2013.
