The Panton Hill Football Netball Club have confirmed that Simon Amore will stay on as senior men’s coach in 2023.

Coach of the club since 2020, Amore has helped the Redbacks stay in Division 2 for another season with a 5-12 record with one match to play.

Amore is also a former Redbacks player and was involved in the club’s 2013 Division 3 premiership.

A Panton Hill statement read:

The club is thrilled to announce that Simon Amore will again be Senior Coach of the Redbacks in 2023.

“We started this year with pretty much a new group of players who have now had a season together which bodes well for next year,” Amore said.

“In the off season we’ll be on the lookout for new and exciting players to join us to help go that extra step towards finals footy.”

President Jayson Burleigh said that upon hearing the news of Simon’s signature the majority of the playing group instantly recommitted as well.
