The Diamond Creek Women’s Football Club are accepting coaching applications for both their Division 1 and Division 2 senior football teams in 2023.
DCWFC has had a lot of success over the past few years with our senior women’s teams. In 2019, our Division 1 made the Grand Final, in 2021 we were awarded the Minor Premiers and last month, went on to win the Premiership.
We attribute this to three things: our coaches, our players and our culture.
We have a strong list of 50+ players who have worked hard to develop their fitness and skills. Our players have strong ties to the club and team, are passionate about playing good footy but also have a strong bond with each other and have fun.
Our Division 1 coach, Col Wallington, has decided to end on a high and focus on family. We couldn’t be prouder of Col and his coaching team and what they and the players have achieved over the past few years.
2023 is a new season and therefore, DCWFC are seeking applications for senior women’s coach’s for our Division 1 & Division 2 teams, to continue to develop our players strengths and to also work with the younger players coming through.
DCWFC has a strong foundation, and we want to continue to build on this. We are looking for coach’s who can bring with them a strong focus on development, be a team player and have a whole club approach.
