Here are the umpire appointments for the 2014 Division 1 Grand Finals.
Well done to all the selected umpires for this weekend’s matches.
The field umpires for the Division 1 seniors Grand Final between Heidelberg and Greensborough are:
Daniel Philp: Umpired the Division 2 Grand Final in 2013 and is a VFL rookie list umpire who has been monitored by the VFL Umpiring Department throughout the season. Daniel is hopeful of being added to the Development List at the VFL in season 2015.
Martin Rodger: Martin is making his way after quite a quick rise through the umpiring ranks. He has demonstrated above average ability and performances over a couple of seasons. He too is hoping to be added to the VFL list of umpires in 2015.
Russell Yin: An experienced field umpire who has been around the mark in the NFL in recent seasons. After a great season in 2014 he has now attained his first Division 1 Grand Final appointment. Russell will no doubt be looking forward to more in the future.
