Boro, Panthers set to kick off 2015

The 2015 NFL season will commence with a Good Friday blockbuster between reigning Division 1 premier Greensborough and Eltham.

Head along to Greensborough’s War Memorial Park this Friday for an action packed day of football, which will include the unfurling of Greensborough’s 2014 premiership flag.

Entry is free although all patrons are encourage to provide a gold coin donation to the Royal Children Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

Food will be on sale, which will include fish and other non-meat products.

The action on the field is set to be compelling as Greensborough commences its premiership defence under new coach Ben Turner.

Despite a ninth-place finish in 2014, Eltham looks set to be a huge improver in Division 1 with the addition of Bradyn Taglieri, Anton Woods and Stephen Witkowski.

The action commences with the under-19s at 9:40am. The first bounce of the seniors is scheduled for 2:10pm.
