Blues announce Lehner, Newport departure

Epping Football Netball Club have parted ways with senior men’s co-coaches Glen Lehner and Aaron Newport.

The duo joined the Blues as co-coaches following the conclusion of the 2021 season. They guided the club to two wins last year, keeping them in Division 2 for season 2023. Epping currently sit in ninth position with a 1-7 record.

“We wish to advise that our co-coaches, Glen Lehner and Aaron Newport, have made the decision to resign as our senior coaches of our club.

We would like to thank them both for their hard work and dedication both on and off the field.

During their time at the club, they have built great relationships not only with the playing group but the club as a whole. We wish them all the very best in their future endeavours.

Brad Hollow will take on the caretaker role for the remainder of the 2023, We are confident that the boys are in great hands.”
