The Fitzroy Stars Football Netball Club is seeking applications for the positions of senior men’s coach and reserves coach for the 2025 season.
Based at Sir Douglas Nicholls Oval, Thornbury, the Fitzroy Stars play in Division 3 in the NFNL men’s competition.
Senior Men’s Coach
The applicants must possess the following:
– Proven leadership skills
– Level 1 Coaching Accreditation
– Strong Knowledge and experience in Australian rules football
– Ability to work as part of a team
– Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
– Contribute to the development of game plans and execution through training sessions
– Proven reputation for being strategic and innovative
– Enjoyment working with players of varying abilities

Reserves Coach
The applicants must possess the following:
– Knowledge and experience as a coach in the development of game plans, training techniques and development of player skills to support objectives.
– Outstanding interpersonal skills, including leadership and communication.
– Ability to work in cooperation with senior coaches
– The desire and drive for personal and team success with a focus on development and culture.
