Eltham statement: Paul King

Published on Thursday, August 8, 2019

Eltham Football Club has made the decision to part ways with senior coach Paul King.

The club’s committee made the decision on Tuesday in what they view as the best long-term interests of the club and playing group.

The decision was committee-driven and it was subsequent to that decision that Brent Macaffer and Michael Still have been appointed to take on the interim coaching role for the remainder of the 2019 season.

Given their existing roles as playing-assistant coaches, this retains the optimum continuity for the playing group and the club for the remainder of the season.

Eltham Football Club thanks Paul King for his contribution during his time with the club. The club also acknowledges and thanks Brian King for his contribution as assistant to Paul in that time.
