The Epping Football Netball Club has announced the signing of Amanda Mowlam as the club’s inaugural senior women’s coach ahead of the 2024 season.

Mowlam joins the Blues as the club looks to field their first senior women’s football side in the NFNL competition.

She spent time with multiple clubs as a player in Victorian Women’s Football League and also played two senior women’s games with Reservoir in 2021.

Mowlam has also had experience as an NFNL field umpire for many years.

A club statement said:

We are overjoyed to announce Amanda Mowlam will coach our women’s football team in 2024.

Amanda joins us at EFNC with an impressive football career thus far. She played in the Victorian Women’s Football League for 9 years with North Heidelberg, Heidelberg and North Ballarat.

Amanda drew on her expertise and knowledge of the game as a field umpire for men’s, women’s and junior football for an astounding 16 years.

It is safe to say Amanda has a tremendous amount to offer our girls and we are so excited to see all she is able to achieve in her new role as coach.
