Expressions of Interest – NFNL Junior Representative Coaches

The NFNL is now accepting expressions of interest from qualified and accredited coaches to be part of the junior representative football program for season 2024.

The NFNL fields representative football teams in the AFL Victoria Metro Junior Development Series, comprising of two teams in each of the Under-14 Boys, Under 15-Boys and Under-15 Girls competitions and for the first time in 2024, one team in the Under-14 Girls competition.

The positions available include for each team are:

• Head Coach
• Assistant Coaches

Appointed coaches will be part of the NFNL team in overseeing:

• Try outs for club nominated players, which will be conducted on Sunday, March 17 and Sunday, March 24.
• Conducting weekly training sessions of their team from April to May.
• Be part of the coaching panel for all matches, which include practice matches and the three AFL Victoria MJDS series matches in late May and over the King’s Birthday long weekend.

We ask for you to include your CV and Cover Letter (including your AFL Coach Member ID number) and outline in detail your experience and why you think you will be a valuable member to the NFNL junior elite pathway program.

Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted in mid January.
