Whittlesea Football Netball Club has announced they have parted ways with senior men’s football coach Blair Harvey after three and a half years at the helm.

Harvey joined the Eagles at the beginning of the 2019 season, guiding them to the Division 2 premiership that same year.

The club released this statement on Friday morning:

The Whittlesea Football Netball Club would like to advise that Blair Harvey is no longer the Senior Coach of the club.

The WFNC sincerely thanks Blair for his contribution and commitment to the club since 2019. The WFNC wishes Blair, Brooke and the kids all the best for the future.

Senior Assistant Coach Matt Wattle Glenn has resigned from his position. The WFNC respects this decision and again thanks Wattle for his dedication to the club.

The Senior Coaching panel now consists of Jimmy Robinson, Jarrad Waite and Luke Russell.

The Reserves Coaching Panel will now comprise of Andrew Draper and Brent Toll. Our Under 19s Coaching Panel remains unchanged with Mick Heyfron and Mick Meyer.

Whilst this has been a challenging week for the club, we now get back to the footy and focus on the big weekend ahead.
