Hyde reappointed at Eltham

Eltham Football Club has confirmed the reappointment of Robert Hyde as senior coach for the 2021 season.

Eltham appointed Hyde as coach last September following its A Plus Labour Solutions Division 2 preliminary final defeat to Whittlesea.

Hyde is one of the most respected coaches in metropolitan football, having led Greensborough to three Division 1 flags in the NFNL. He also steered Calder Cannons to three premierships in the NAB League.

With the 2020 NFNL season cancelled due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Eltham acted swiftly to retain Hyde for the 2021 campaign.

“The Eltham Football Club committee is pleased to confirm the reappointment of Robert Hyde as Senior Coach for 2021,” a club statement said.

“For season 2020 Robert and the coaches laid out a foundation for what we believe would have been a very successful 2020 season and we look forward to that being rolling into 2021.”
