The 2013 AFL Victoria Metropolitan Junior Championships kicked off on Wednesday night.
It wasn’t the most successful start for the Northern Football League, going down in all five matches. However, our boys and girls showed plenty of good signs moving into next week’s second round of action.
The Under-14 Division 1 side went closest to a win, but were unlucky to go down by three points in a sensational encounter against Yarra Junior Football League.

Youth Girls: Northern Football League 2.2 (14) def by South East Juniors 13.13 (91) @ Latrobe University, Bundoora
