The Keon Park Stars are seeking junior netball coaches for the NFNL 2023-24 junior winter netball season.
The suitable candidates are expected to attend training on Monday nights from 5:30-6:30pm at Keon Park Tennis Club and matches on a Wednesday evening.
Requirements for the role include:
– Commitment to attend training and matches
– Knowledge and understanding of the game of netball
– A passion and drive to develop junior netball players
– Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
– Current Foundation Netball Coaching Accreditation (or willing to obtain – club will reimburse)
This is a volunteer position however the Club is willing to support any development opportunities that you may require.
The NFNL is conducting a Beginner & Perspective Coach Seminar on Sunday 7th April from 10am-12pm at La Trobe Sports Stadium and will be ran by Richelle McKenzie (NFNL Coach Developer).
This is a great seminar prior to the new season that we strongly encourage anyone considering coaching attends as this will help your coaching development.
It is important to note that without coaches, players cannot take to the court, so we encourage you to put your hand up if you are thinking about it or if you have played the game before and want to help develop the future netball stars of tomorrow!
