The Keon Park Stars are seeking junior netball coaches for the NFNL 2024/25 junior summer netball season.
The suitable candidates are expected to attend training on Monday nights from 5:30-6:30pm at Keon Park Tennis Club and matches on a Wednesday evening.
Requirements for the role include:
– Commitment to attend training and matches
– Knowledge and understanding of the game of netball
– A passion and drive to develop junior netball players
– Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
– Current Foundation Netball Coaching Accreditation (or willing to obtain – club will reimburse)
This is a volunteer position however the Club is willing to support any development opportunities that you may require.
Without coaches, there is NO TEAM. A regular coach is important to help motivate and inspire our players as well as support their continued development. We strongly encourage you to put your hand up if you are thinking about it or if you have played the game before and want to help develop the future netball stars of tomorrow!
The coaching position suits a wide variety of people. Did you play netball previously or still play? Do you want to contribute to the growth and development of the future? Are you a teacher or have you previously had coaching experience? Are you a senior netballer who may one day like to enter coaching? Are you a university sports or sports science student wishing to gain some coaching experience? – plenty of scenarios where this is the best opportunity for you!
