Greensborough junior Lachlan Hill will play his 100th game this weekend.
Lachlan is a member of Greensborough’s under-14 team and has been with the Raiders since 2007, following three years at Glen Katherine Auskick.
Lachlan is co-captain of his side this year and was also invited into the NFL Development Squad.
In 2012 he was co-captain of Greensborough Under-13 Red – leading the side to the Grand Final which it lost to Eltham by 27 points.
The year before he was named best and fairest of Greensborough’s Under-12 Blue team, following a third place finish in the Under-11 Blue best and fairest in 2010. In season 2011, Lachlan was also lucky enough to be part of Glen Katherine’s school football team which won the State final played at Victoria Park.
2009 was arguably Lachlan’s most memorable season of football.
He was named best and fairest in Greensborough’s Under-10 Blue premiership team and played in the Under-12s premiership team with his brother – winning two Grand Finals on the same day.
A player who always puts the team first – Lachlan says he wouldn’t have achieved anything without his teammates and coaches and the enormous support he has received from his family and friends.
The Greensborough Junior Football Club and Northern Football League both wish Lachlan the best of luck in his 100th game this weekend and look forward to seeing him flourish even further in his football career.
