The South Morang Football Netball Club has appointed Andy Failla and Tim Keegan as co-coaches of the club’s senior women’s side.

As the Lions prepare to field their first senior women’s team since 2019, the club confirmed the appointments of Failla and Keegan along with senior assistant, Michael Iorio.

In South Morang’s last senior women’s campaign, they finished in second place on the Division 2 ladder before bowing out in the preliminary final.

A club statement said:

We are very excited to announce our Senior Women’s Coaching team for 2024.

As we re-enter the Senior Women’s comp again in 2024, we will have Andy Failla and Tim Keegan team up to co-coach our Lionesses and Michael Iorio will be their assistant.

It’s an exciting time for the club to be able to have a senior women team back on the park again and we couldn’t be happier with this coaching team that will guide and develop our ladies in 2024.
