The NFNL’s senior men’s side overcame an inaccurate start to topple the Mornington Peninsula Nepean Football League by 40 points – with the win elevating the NFNL into second place on the AFL Victoria Community Championships rankings.
The inaugural senior women’s representative game was a classic, with scores tied at the final siren. Extra time was required to determine a winner, with South East Womens scoring a one-point triumph.
The action was equally dramatic in the under-19s, with a goal with the last kick of the game handing the MPNFL a six-point win over the NFNL in a game that was close for its entirety.
