NFL statement on Parkside FC

Published on Friday, October 10, 2014

AFL Victoria has today approved the transfer of Parkside Football Club from the Northern Football League.

Parkside will return to the Victorian Amateur Football League (VAFA), where it competed before joining the NFL in 2003.

While disappointed with Parkside’s decision to transfer out of the league, the NFL is understanding of the club’s position.

With the introduction of the Banyule Football Club in 2015, the Division 3 competition will again feature seven teams next season.
