It is without doubt the biggest week of fixtures the league has seen this year with undefeated first and second placed teams meeting in both Division 2 and Division 3, meanwhile the top flight hosts a rematch of last year’s Grand Final.
The NFL Match of the Day sees Fitzroy Stars travel to Epping Recreational Reserve for a clash with Epping, with the winner to take a one-game lead atop the top of the table.
It’s a similar story in Division 3 where Reservoir hosts Panton Hill with the winner to move to 5-0 and a step closer to a securing a finals spot.
In Division 1 Bundoora hosts a Heidelberg side looking to rebound after a shock 75-point loss to Montmorency last week. Elsewhere, Northcote Park hosts West Preston-Lakeside with the loser at risk of losing touch with the top five, meanwhile Eltham and Whittlesea clash with both sides heading into the encounter in hot form.
