NFNL are looking for a Goal Umpire Coach for the 2026 Season

The Role:

The Goal umpire coach will play a pivotal role in enhancing and leading our goal umpiring program at the NFNL.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced coach to lead our goal umpires. The successful candidate will bring coaching expertise and will foster a high-performance environment.

Key Duties:
•Make weekly goal umpiring appointments.
• Edit vision for coaching purposes.
•Available to observe/coach on Saturday.
•Develop training plan in conjunction with fitness coach.
•Collate and send observation feedback to umpires.

Skills and Experience:
•Previous experience coaching at community level desired.
• The ability to effectively plan and implement a structured training and coaching program.
•Demonstrated ability to communicate and relate to a diverse range of stakeholders,
including coaches, umpires, and parents.
• Strong leadership and relationship skills with the ability to engage and motivate others.
•A collaborative mindset and commitment to the values of NFNL
•Have a Victoria? Employment Working with Children Check, or willing to obtain one.
