NFNL Update – July 23-25 Matches

Published on Tuesday, July 20, 2021

All NFNL football and netball matches scheduled for the weekend of July 23-25 will not proceed due to the extension of Victoria’s lockdown.

This follows today’s announcement from the Victorian Government, which has extended the state’s lockdown by a further seven days until 11:59pm on Tuesday 27 July.

The NFNL Board will convene this week to discuss the structure of all football and netball competitions once competition can resume.

All clubs will be asked to provide feedback by completing a survey, which will be sent by the NFNL shortly.

The NFNL will provide an update once the Board has made its determination.

To the entire NFNL community, please stay safe during these trying times and continue to comply with the restrictions and protocols currently in place.

We look forward to returning to the football field and netball courts as soon as possible to resume the 2021 season.
