BUNDOORA Football Club has announced its coaching line-up for 2015, with Phil Plunkett staying on as senior coach.

It will be Plunkett’s third season as senior coach at Yulong Reserve. He also served as a senior assistant to Phil Maylin in 2012.

In 2013 he took the Bulls to the premiership in his first season at the helm, before a fifth-placed finish this season.

The Bulls were eliminated in this year’s finals series by Macleod.

It ended a run of four-successive NFL premiership wins for the much-respected coach, after also coaching Heidelberg to three flags from 2007 to 2009 before moving to Oak Park in the EDFL.

A statement released by Bundoora confirmed Plunkett’s re-appointment.

"With Phil Plunkett now being involved in three finals campaigns with the Bundoora Football Club we believe he is the best person to take us into the 2015 season as we work towards redemption," the statement said.

Matthew Penn will continue as reserves coach, while Scott Pywell will again coach Bundoora’s under-19s.
