Senior netball coach Wanted: St Mary’s Netball Club

Published on Monday, March 2, 2026

The St Mary’s Senior Football Netball Club are seeking a senior netball coach for the NFNL 2026 winter netball season.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a committed group of players who have previously played together and are aiming to compete in mid-divisions (7/8, subject to grading). The team is motivated, experienced and keen to continue developing their on-court performance.

The role

This is a volunteer coaching position. We welcome expressions of interest from both experienced coaches and individuals looking to step into coaching for the first time.

The club will cover the cost of a Foundation Coaching Accreditation if the applicant does not already hold it.

This role offers the opportunity to:

  • Lead a cohesive and competitive senior team
  • Develop your coaching skills within a supportive club environment
  • Make a meaningful contribution to the growth and success of our women’s program

The successful applicant will be supported by a dedicated Netball Manager, who will assist with team administration and off-court coordination, allowing the coach to focus on performance and game-day preparation.

Season Details

  • Competition: Friday night games
  • Season Dates: 10 April – 14 August 2026 (not inclusive of finals)
  • Finals: Up to three additional rounds
  • Training: No regular weekly training commitment required. A welcome session and some ad hoc sessions can be arranged in discussion with coach and players.

How to Apply

Please submit your expression of interest to Micaela.r.hanlon@outlook.com by EOD Tuesday 10 March.
