The selected teams are in for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.
Heidelberg have made seven changes for their top five clash with Hurstbridge, with Zavier Maher and Solomon McKay headlining the inclusions. The Bridges bring back Kye Agosta, Thomas Hird and Cameron Wild.
Ben Giobbi and Kyle McDonald return for North Heidelberg as they face a Banyule outfit who will miss midfielder Kurt Aylett.
Harrison Andronaco and Kristian Ferronato are back for Greensborough in their must win battle against Macleod, who will be without skipper Justin White.
Both Bundoora and Eltham will have VFL listed stars come into their sides ahead of their final match of the season. Jackson Bowne returns and John Jorgensen will play his first game of the year for the Bulls, as will Liam McMahon for the Panthers.
Montmorency will include a host of talented personnel back to their team as they travel to West Preston-Lakeside. Benjamin Crick, Patrick Dozzi and Ryan Gardner have all been selected while Port Melbourne VFL-listed star Harvey Hooper will make his Magpies debut.
Danyon Kambouris, Jett McLaughlan and Andrew White have been named for Diamond Creek in their qualifying final clash with a South Morang team who have arguably picked their best squad of the season, with captain Tye Hall and Coburg listed duo Joshua D’Intinosante and Deacon Kalpakis all back for the Lions.
Both Lower Plenty and Thomastown have made one change each ahead of their elimination final bout.
Tyson Pickett (Fitzroy Stars) and Declan Brunskill (Old Paradians) headline the inclusions for their team’s second semi-final this weekend.
Epping go into their first semi-final unchanged from the team that defeated Old Eltham Collegians last Sunday, as they prepare to face a Mernda side who welcome back Joshua Mazzarella.
Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s Grand Finals.
