The senior teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.
There will be a host of key players missing this weekend, with seven of the league’s best players set to line up for Vic Metro in Sunday’s Community Cup match against Vic Metro at Ballarat’s Mars Stadium.
Among those to be selected for Vic Metro are Macleod duo Lucas Hobbs and Brad Leggett, who will miss the Roos’ home match against Hurstbridge. The Bridges lose Travis Cloke and Cooper Perrin.
Matthew Harman returns for West Preston-Lakeside’s ahead of its clash with North Heidelberg at J.E. Moore Park. The Bulldogs will be without star utility Jhye Baddeley-Kelly, who has also earned a Vic Metro call-up.
Montmorency will be without Kye Declase and Matthew White when it hosts Heidelberg. Jordan Steele does return for the Magpies after missing his first game for the season last week.
Josh Gribben and Callum Lewis return for the Tigers, however Will Goss and Josh Minogue are among five outs.
Ash Close and Bronik Davies return to Northcote Park’s line-up among five changes for its away clash with Bundoora. Jordan Perry and Josh Grabowski will both miss for their respective sides after earning selection in the Vic Metro side.
Meanwhile, Greensborough will be without Nick Riddle (Vic Metro) for its trip to Whittlesea.
Thomastown regains star ruckman Dylan Chapman for its important game against Banyule in A Plus Labour Solutions Division 2.
Patrick Flynn will make his return from a knee injury when Lower Plenty travels to Watsonia. Jordan Sacco also comes in for the Bears.
Diamond Creek will be without Josh Marchbank and Jai Norman when it hosts Epping at Coventry Oval.
Meanwhile, Anton Woods (Vic Metro) and Bradyn Taglieri are both out of Eltham’s line-up for its match against Fitzroy Stars at Eltham Central Park. The Stars will also be without key players, with Steven Stallion and Hayden Heta among four outs.
In Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3, Chris Petroro will play his first senior game since Round 2 when St Mary’s travels to Kilmore.
