Simper appointed as Blues senior women’s coach

Michael Simper has been announced as the senior women’s coach of the Epping Football Netball Club for the 2025 season.

Having been involved with coaching junior teams at the club recently, Simper will take the reins from Alex Bonacci, who was in the senior women’s coaching role for the majority of this season.

In their inaugural campaign in the NFNL senior women’s competition, Epping finished eighth in Division 3, claiming two wins and a draw.

A club statement said:

The Epping Football Netball Club is proud to announce Michael Simper as the senior women’s coach for 2025.

Michael has dedicated many years to our club, coaching our junior boys teams with great passion and expertise.

We wish Michael the best of luck and look forward to seeing his continued success in this new role.
