A club statement said

The Kilmore Football Netball Club is thrilled to announce its inaugural Senior Women’s Football Coach for 2025, Andy Stewart.

Andy’s contributions to Kilmore Football Netball Club are legendary. A multiple time senior premiership player and premiership winning playing coach, Andy is a member of our team of the century and a life member of the club. Andy has also been a long-term sponsor of our club with his business, Jet Roofing.

Andy is an outstanding coach of women and girls football, serving as a coach for many years with the Kilmore Junior Football Club and most recently, assisting at Whittlesea Football Club. Andy has a passion for not only introducing women and girls to the game but improving the skills of talented players to take them to the next level.

When the executive committee signaled its intention to field a senior women’s team in 2025, Andy was the unanimous choice to lead our program, and we could not be happier at the level of coach and character we have leading our women in 2025.

More information regarding our women’s program including information nights, training dates and more will be posted soon. If you are interested in being part of our inaugural senior women’s program as a player, assistant coach, official or sponsor, please contact the club at president@kilmorefnc.com.au
