Team selections: April 27

Published on Friday, April 26, 2013

Anthony Rocca is a big-name inclusion this weekend, with the former AFL star set to play his first game of the season for West Preston-Lakeside.

Rocca is joined by Pece Micevski, Andrew Luzza and debutant Al McLeod.

The Roosters opponent, Macleod, has regained Cathal Corr amongst three changes.

Narby Kelly will return for Northcote Park in its huge clash with Bundoora. Kelly hasn’t played for the Cougars since kicking three goals in the 2012 Grand Final victory. Youngster Harley Short has also been named.

Billy Barden returns for Lower Plenty as it hosts Epping at Montmorency Park. The Bears have been dealt a blow though with Clint Monger out for the 2011 Division 2 Grand Final rematch.

Heidelberg midfielder Jess Sinclair is out for his side’s home clash with Greensborough, along with Will Drapac.

Whittlesea has made five changes for its trip to Lalor. Power forward Paul Harrison is unavailable, while Chris Horman, Ben Tsakamakis and Tommy Bonson will all miss with injury.
