The league is supporting both the Northern Blues golf day on February 21 and the FIDA golf day on February 28.
The Northern Blues are a close community football partner of the NFL with many former NFL junior players now representing the VFL club.
FIDA runs football competitions for the intellectually disabled and the NFL now has three clubs who support teams in those competitions. They are Parkside, Lower Plenty and Diamond Creek (new in 2013).
Information on the respective days are as follows:
NORTHERN BLUES GOLF DAY
Where: Kingston Links Golf Club (Corporate Avenue, Rowville)
When: Thursday, February 21
Start: 12:30pm for 1:30pm tee off
Cost: $120 per person
Format: 4-Ball Ambrose
Includes: Pre-game light lunch, green fees, electric cart (between two people), on course refreshment, carvery dinner and beverages, prizes and giveaways, Northern Blues golf day polo

When: Thursday, February 28
Start: 1pm shotgun start
Cost: $100 per person
Includes: Lunch, course fees, BBQ dinner
