Tigers retain coaching panel

Heidelberg has announced the re-signing of its entire football coaching group for the 2021.

In a major boost for the club, the Tigers have managed to maintain the senior coach for all five of their football teams ahead of next season.

Club legend Danny Nolan will remain in charge of the senior men’s team.

The five-time premiership winner and four-time best and fairest served as an assistant to Frankie Raso in 2019 and was due to lead the Tigers in 2020 prior to the season being cancelled by the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Paul Honey and Anthony Palmer will lead the reserves and under-19s respectively, while Tony Jackson and Peter Brown will coach the club’s two women’s teams.

Heidelberg will be looking to continue its positive momentum into 2021 after a positive 2019 season.

The Tigers’ senior men’s football team finish second on the ladder at the completion of the home and away season.

Meanwhile, its women’s football program has expanded to two teams after playing off in the MC Security Division 2 grand final in its first season in the NFNL Women’s competition in 2018.
