It was a tough start to the 2017 AFL Victoria Metro Junior Championships for the Northern Football League.
Despite their best efforts, all five of the league’s junior representative sides suffered heavy defeats to the Yarra Junior Football League.
The five sides will be back in action on Saturday June 10 for Round 2 of the Championships.
Our under-15 boys will take on the Easter Football League at Walker Park, Mitcham, while our under-14 boys host the EFL at Mernda’s Waterview Reserve. Our under-15 girls take on the South Metro Junior Football League at Koornang Park, Carnegie.
Round 3 of the Championships will be played on Monday June 12.
