The Northern Football League hosted the 2013 Junior Presentation Night on Wednesday, August 21, in front of more than 300 people at Planetshakers in Lower Plenty.

Compered by Gold 104.3 announcer Craig Huggins, the awards night was held just three days after 26 exciting Grand Finals were held across seven different venues in the northern region.

In just its third season in the competition, Laurimar Football Club was awarded the NFL Junior Club of the Year. Other major award winners were Ty Franks who claimed the Northern Knights Under-15 Rookie of the Year and Khayne Horman, Joel Grace, Adam Currie, Matthew Signorello and Lauren Hughes who took out awards for their efforts during the junior representative carnival.

Meanwhile, Jess Neale won the Best First Year Umpire and Jason Tanti took out the Umpire of the Year in the Junior Division.
