2018 NFNL Junior Best and Fairest Awards

All the results from the 2018 NFNL Junior Presentation Night.

The awards night was held on Monday August 13 at La Trobe University’s Union Hall, six days before this year’s 25 junior grand finals, which will close out another great year of junior action.

Yarrambat Junior Football Club was rewarded for a great year on and off the field, winning the NFNL Junior Club of the Year award, ahead of finalists Keon Park, Kilmore, Panton Hill and Reservoir.

Kilmore’s Max Lacorcia claimed the Lew Hall Award, which acknowledge selfless contribution to a club, the league and/or community by a young person.

Research’s Patrick Dozzi took out the Northern Knights NFNL Rising Star Award, while the NFNL representative awards were won by Darcy Wilmot (Under-15A), Jarred Coutts (Under-15B), Kasey Lennox (Under-15A Girls), Lauren Jatczak (Under-15B Girls), Thomas Neale (Under-14A) and Nicholas Storer (Under-14B).

Lachlan Flinn was named the Junior Umpire of the Year and Seamus White claimed the Most Promising Junior Umpire Award.
