The 2019 A Plus Labour Solutions Division 2 Team of the Year has been announced.

The Northern Football Netball League congratulates all players selected in the team.

The Team of the Year is selected by collating nominations submitted from each of the division’s senior coaches. Coaches MVP votes and umpire votes are also taken into consideration.

A squad of 40 players was announced on Tuesday, from which the Team of the Year has been selected.

Minor premier Banyule has seven players selected in the Team of the Year, with all seven Bears named on the starting field.

Eltham and Thomastown each have four players named, while grand finalist Whittlesea has three players selected ahead of tomorrow’s premiership decider at Preston City Oval.

Eight players from the 2018 A Plus Labour Solutions Division 2 have again been selected this year.

They include Josh Beare, Jacob Booth, Anthony Capeci, Dylan Chapman, Mannon Johnston, Brent Macaffer, Matthew Vasilevski and Anton Woods.

St Mary’s forward Myles Guldon has also been picked in the team after last season featuring in the Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 Team of the Year.

All players selected in the 2019 A Plus Labour Solutions Division 2 Team of the Year will receive a framed poster of the squad, which will be presented to their club later this month.
