The 2019 NFNL Women’s Teams of the Year have been announced.

The Northern Football Netball League congratulates all players selected in each of the NFNL Women’s Teams of the Year.

The Teams of the Year are selected by collating nominations submitted from each of the division’s senior coaches. Coaches MVP votes and umpire votes are also taken into consideration.

All clubs are represented in the ANZ Women’s Division 1 Team of the Year.

VU Western Spurs and Montmorency were rewarded for their top-two finishes on the ladder, with each club having six players selected in the team. Meanwhile, grand finalist Diamond Creek Women’s has four representatives included.

All seven clubs are also featured in the MC Security Division 2 Women’s Team of the Year, headlined by VU Western Spurs and South Morang who both have five players in the team.

Grand finalist Heidelberg is also well represented, with four players selected.

The Mirvac Division 3 Women’s Team of the Year comprises nine players from grand finalists VU Western Spurs and Greensborough.

All clubs again have at least one representative in the side.

All players selected in the teams will receive a framed poster of the squad, which will be presented to their club next month.
