2021 Junior Football Fixtures

Published on Thursday, June 10, 2021

The NFNL has released the fixtures for the remainder of the 2021 junior football season.

As a result of a survey completed by NFNL junior clubs regarding the season structure, the fixture for the 2021 season has been amended as per below:

• Finals structure changed to a two-week finals series. The opening week of finals will feature knockout games between 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd. The two winners will play in the Grand Final the following week.

• The home and away games originally scheduled for May 30 have been rescheduled for August 1, which now becomes the final round of the home and away season.

These changes allow for more teams to play an additional game and will result in the 2021 home and away season being played across 13 rounds.

The NFNL thanks all clubs for their feedback in the survey.

We look forward to the junior football competition resuming next weekend, as proposed by the State Government yesterday.
