Ryan to continue at Bulls in 2023

In the lead up to the 2022 finals series, Bundoora has confirmed that Michael Ryan will continue as the club’s senior men’s coach next year.

The club announced that Ryan would remain at the helm in 2023 after leading his side to a second place finish at the end of this year’s home and away campaign.

Ryan joined the Bulls in 2020 following stints as senior coach at Hurstbridge and Lower Plenty.

Bundoora president Mark Maxwell was delighted with the re-appointment in a club statement on Tuesday.

“This announcement is an extension of Michael’s initial appointment back in 2020,” he said.

“Michael is an outstanding coach and leader of young men. Michael continues to provide opportunities to young emerging talent and we are excited how our playing list is developing.

“He is an integral to positioning Bundoora as a destination club.”

The Bulls face Montmorency in the qualifying final this Saturday at Preston City Oval.
